A continuous over-door hook, shaped around your door and what you hang on it.
Measuring & printing
Measure the door thickness and add total clearance for an easy fit. The clearance value is shared across both faces of the door.
Stem drop runs from the door top to the start of the bottom curl. Inside curl radius controls the hook opening; tip rise extends the free end upward. Corner radius is the inside radius at the top bends.
The rounded bridge is lifted by the inside corner radius to clear square door corners. The gap above your closed door must exceed strip thickness + inside corner radius. This designer does not simulate strength or assign a load rating.
STL exports with the broad profile flat on the print bed, at Z = 0, with strip width as the print height. STL has no unit metadata: import in millimetres. Preview the sliced layers and test fit before loading the hook.
Enable the stepped top hook for a rebated or raised door edge. Choose the raised side independently of the hanging hook side. Step height is the difference between the two top levels; stem drops are measured from the lower door top. Top step width measures the clear interior gap between the leg and riser faces, away from the rounded corners. A 12 mm value exports a 12 mm interior gap, regardless of strip thickness. Dimensions are adjusted when necessary to keep rounded bends from overlapping. The extrusion has square side edges and rounded profile bends.
